The Compact and DSLR Cameras
Gone are the days of going to the local shop to buy a roll of film and after taking your "shots" waiting for days to see the results, unless of course you had your own dark room.
The Modern Digital Camera does away with all that and gives you instant results, and you can take it home to your own dark room.
Quality is still a key issue and often sacrificed in the smaller and cheaper compacts. Digital SLR's are more expensive, but reward you with the flexibility of control inherent in a up market product.
The Camera is only as good as the Photographer. It is you, the photographer, that decides the image, but the camera freezes that moment in time. I have found that you achieve about 1 really good photograph in about 200. However as you become more familiar and expert this ratio drastically reduces.
The Auto functions on most cameras gives a good photo, but not until you start experimenting with the Manual setting do you upgrade to those rare beautiful photographs the you will come to cherish. A professional photographer naturally has a high strike rate than us amateurs, but we can learn.
Not everyone can afford the high end Nikons and Canons but here you will find some exceptional bargains that will fit into you budget and give you the best quality for your money in the camera of your choice.
